First Day:

  • Arrival at Cape Town International Airport.
  • Meet and Assist by our local representative.
  • Transfer to your hotel.
  • Check in & Overnight at the hotel.

Second Day:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Depart hotel for a Cape Town City tour.(Adderley Street, Darling Street and view of Castle of Good Hope)
  • Colourful BO-KAAP tour and an optional a visit to “Auwal Masjid”, the first mosque built in Cape Town.
  • Table Mountain tour (including Cable Car tickets if permissible)
  • Scenic drive, around the Atlantic coast board, (Camps Bay,Sea Point Promenade) from Table Mountain, back to hotel.
  • Transfer back to your hotel to freshen up.
  • Pick up from hotel, Night Cultural show & a dinner with unique Capetonian cuisine
  • Transfer back to your hotel.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Third Day:

  • Early Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Early departure, to the renowned beauty and unspoilt wonder of beauty, the “Majestic Garden Route”, stay in Knysna.

  • Free time at leisure and relaxation.

Fourth Day:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Depart to the Ostrich Capital of the world – City of Oudtshoorn.
  • Visit the beautiful lime stones of the “Cango Caves”.
  • Explore the raw wilderness beauty of the “Cango Wildlife Ranch”.
  • Visit the biggest bird in the world – Cango Ostrich farm.
  • Transfer back to our lush green town of Knysna.
  • Overnight in Knysna at Hotel/Spa and Resort.

Fifth Day:

  • Breakfast at the Hotel/ Resort and Spa.
  • Pick up from your hotel to get on an adventure of zip lining the Canopy Tours in Tsitsikamma Rainforest.
  • Visit the gentle giants of Knysna at the Elephant Park.
  • Visit the world’s biggest bird sanctuary - Birds of Eden.
  • Enjoy the warmth of the sweet haven of primates – The Monkey Land.
  • Transfer back to our lush green town of Knysna.
  • Overnight in Knysna at Hotel/Spa and Resort.

Sixth Day:

  • Early Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Early departure, scenic drive back through our majestic Garden Route, relax and enjoy the route through the towns of George and Mossel bay, towards Cape Town.
  • Arrive to Check in & Overnight at the hotel in Cape Town.

Seventh Day:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Rest of the day at leisure/Optional tour.
  • Overnight at the hotel.

Eighth Day:

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Free time until time of check-out.
  • Departure Transfer to the airport as per your flight details.

First Day:

On your arrival to Cape Town International Airport a highly professional representative will be present to meet and greet you on your arrival. You will be transferred to the hotel. Free day at leisure.

Second Day:

Breakfast at the hotel.

You will be introduced to your tour guide and set off for a wonderful Cape Town city tour (Adderley Street, Darling Street and view of Castle of Good Hope) ,colourful BO-KAAP tour and an optional a visit to “Auwal Masjid”, the first mosque built in Cape Town. Leisure time will be made available at Green Market Square where curio shops and market showcase their art. We visit the world known Table Mountain our beautiful city of Cape Town has its very own state of the art cableway which allow tourist to be one with Table Mountain, mountain’s charm has a way of sweeping people off their feet, drawing them to reach the summit. A scenic drive around the Atlantic coast passing by Camps Bay and Sea Point Promenade from Table Mountain before returning to hotel to freshen up for night cultural show and unique Capetonian cuisine

Transfer back to hotel and overnight at the hotel.

Third Day:

Breakfast at hotel

Early depart to the renowned beauty and unspoilt wonder of beauty the “majestic Garden Route” stay in Knysna, via Du Toits Kloof Mountain pass. Check-in at the Hotel/Resort in Knysna.

Free Time at leisure and relaxation. Overnight in Knysna at Hotel/Spa and Resort.

Fourth Day:

Breakfast at hotel.

Depart to the town of Oudtshoorn known to be the ostrich capital. The journey will take us through the little Karoo with lush green and semi desert areas. We shall visit the lime stone of Cango Caves and explore the raw wilderness beauty of the Cango Wildlife Ranch to learn more about Crocodiles, Cheetah, reptiles and other beautiful animals (Cheetah, Jaguars, Tigers, Lions and Puma). Visit the biggest in the world at Cango Ostrich Farm.

Transfer back to lush green town of Knysna and overnight in Knysna at Hotel/Spa and Resort.

Fifth Day:

Breakfast at hotel.

Pick up from hotel to get on an adventure zipline to tour the canopies of tsitsikamma rainforest. In our time spent in Knysna you will be visiting various destinations such as a visit to the gentle gaints of Knysna Elephant Park, Birds of Eden, which is the world biggest bird sanctuary and enjoy the warmth of the sweet haven of primates at Monkeyland.

Transfer back to our lush green town of Knysna.

Sixth Day:

Breakfast at hotel.

We depart the Garden Route leaving the lush green landscape for the majestic for the glittery Cape Town. Relax and enjoy the route through the towns of George, Wilderness and Mossel Bay towards Cape Town

Arrive to Check-in and overnight at the Hotel in Cape Town.

Seventh Day:

Breakfast at hotel.

Free day at leisure/optional tour (refer to our optional tours/activity list).

Overnight at the hotel.

Eighth Day:

Breakfast at hotel.

Free time until check-out. Departure transfer to the airport as per your flight details.

Banking

Most banks are open from 09h00 to 15h30 on weekdays and 08h30 to 11h00 on Saturdays. Automated Teller Machines (ATM’s) are readily available in cities and towns.

Beaches

Swimming is generally safe and hygienic. A record 84 sites have international Blue Flag status for the 2015/16 period with 49 of them in the Western Cape.

Conversions

Distances are given in kilometres (1 mile = 1.62 kilometres’). Temperatures are given in degrees Celsius (Centigrade) (20 degrees Celsius = 68 degrees Fahrenheit)

Credit Cards

Most major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express etc.) are accepted. They may also be used to draw cash from ATM’s. Some petrol stations accept credit cards too.

Currency

The main unit of currency is the rand, divided into 100 cents. Foreign currency should be declared on entry.

Customs Allowance

Personal effects are allowed in duty free. Visitors may bring in goods worth R5, 000; duty is levelled at 20% up to R20, 000.

Dress

South Africa’s dress code is casual, except in some hotels, clubs and restaurants that require more formal attire. Topless swimming and sunbathing is not officially allowed.

Drinking

Water - Tap water is safe to drink 
Alcohol – only over 18’s may purchase; may not be consumed in public. For drivers, the legal blood/alcohol limit is a breath alcohol content of 0.24mg per 1,000ml, or a blood alcohol limit of 0.05g per 100ml 0.05mg per 100ml.

Health/Medical

Vaccinations for cholera and small pox are not required, but travellers from a yellow fever zone must have a valid certificate. Visitors to game parks must take anti-malarial tablets available from pharmacies. Medical and hospital charges must be paid for immediately. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Passports/Visas

Passports must be valid for six months after date of departure from SA. Visas are generally required. Visitors must have a return ticket.

Tipping

Waiters and taxi drivers generally expect 10%-15% of the bill. Porters expect from R10 per bag.

VAT

Value Added Tax, currently at 14% is levied on most goods and services. Visitors may reclaim VAT on purchases over R250 at international points of departure.
