This tiny, secluded beach, next door to Oudekraal beach, is made up predominantly of course beach sand and giant boulders. It lies in the heart of the Atlantic Seaboard's Bakoven with some of the most enviable views of the Twelve Apostles and Lion's Head. It is not the privately owned beach everyone thinks it is, despite lying at the feet of a series of privileged residences that look as though they open onto the beach; although there are certain unspoken rules that govern behavior that include allowing people their privacy, and behaving as though it is, indeed, an exclusive beach.
